Okay, so my theatre group's thinking about performing the play Picnic by William Inge. It was published in 1953, won a Pulitzer for drama, and was made into a movie in... '55, I believe. Anyone else read it, if so, what did you think?

Sounds like a silly question but its an imporatnt prop in the play and i havent a clue where to start! Have tried google and not returned much in the way of novelty / toy missiles - does anyone know where i can find one (it would be about a metre or so in size) or how best to make one?

I am a guy playing a part in a play where I am playing a female role (or at least for parts of the play I am). Does anyone have any tips for projecting a more female sounding voice without it sounding really too fake. Should I go for higher pitch or maybe huskier? Just not sure what to do!

I’m guessing there are a couple of things Americans, no matter what their party affiliation or political ideology, even the Far Left Wing Radical ACLU Adoring Liberal Democrats really don't want to see in a movie.

The assassination of a sitting American president, and the other would be a black man getting pinned for his murder just to make a point about anti-Arab sentiment since Sept. 11.

Reports say that at the Screening There were many African-Americans present, and ALL of them fled the theater enraged!!

When the lights went up, it was mostly people with foreign accents and a few Jewish Liberal American producers in the film business who refused comments as they hurried out of the theatre. There was no applause when the film ended.

What say you???

I am 13 years old, and I want to become an actress after I get out of High School. The only thing is, nobody beleives I can do it. My brothers girlfriend (soon to be wife) said "Oh, you just want to become an actress for the money and the fame, besides there is only a 1% chance you will even get that far. You have to have money in order to do that." I do not care about the money and fame. It's my dream, but my brothers girlfriend always finds a way to bring me down about my dreams, and I am scared to tell my dad because I don't know what he would say. I used to want to be a vet but I got into theatre at school and i love it. I have a true passion for it, although I am shy, I can overcome that, Can't I? What should I do?
