I’m guessing there are a couple of things Americans, no matter what their party affiliation or political ideology, even the Far Left Wing Radical ACLU Adoring Liberal Democrats really don't want to see in a movie.
The assassination of a sitting American president, and the other would be a black man getting pinned for his murder just to make a point about anti-Arab sentiment since Sept. 11.
Reports say that at the Screening There were many African-Americans present, and ALL of them fled the theater enraged!!
When the lights went up, it was mostly people with foreign accents and a few Jewish Liberal American producers in the film business who refused comments as they hurried out of the theatre. There was no applause when the film ended.
What say you???

I still remember where I was on 9-11, and I think if the Canadians want to make a B.S. movie fine,They should just remember who really keeps them FREE!

I say so what. It's a film. It's fiction. They're playing out an idea, a "what if"
It's an interesting idea. There have been "historical fiction" movies made before about famous people getting murdered (or not) and how it altered the course of history. The only difference is that this one is in being made while the person is still alive.
And what's your point about "it was mostly people with foreign accents and a few Jewish Liberal American producers"? So what? Perhaps they're the few level headed people in the theatre who could see the film for what it was. A movie exploring an idea.
And that, is what I say.

I think that the liberal media and Hollywood has gone WAY too far with their political crap - I think that it is really a sign that something is wrong in this country when there are so many AMERICANS that hate it here. It is one thing to disagree with a president's actions - it is quite another to treat the leader of the USA the way Bush has been treated. It is frightening to me - all of these so-called peace-lovers are awfully violent when you don't agree with them - what is funny is that they are going to be the ones that actually start a war - and they won't get the last word. There are too many people who think what they are doing is wrong - and we're the ones that have guns.

Sounds like treason, are people forgetting about that word? The people responsible for creating this horrible movie should be given two choices. 1) shot for treason on American soil, or 2) exiled from the country and sent over to the people they so much adore and love, either Iraq or Iran, Syria would do as well. And let them die by the very people they are wanting to protect!

I'm not sure you can compare Usama to Bush.
Since when Bin Laden has been elected by vote by all muslims?
Is he a president of any country? Is he the representant of Islam?
Stop thinking that all muslim, or all people from east (or just outside of US) are supporting Usama or seeing him like some leader...
terrorism is only few people who making Big events to get some notoriety. Not a movement from Half the planet against the other...

Freedom of speech and the marketplace of ideas. No censorship, let everything out there and let people decide if they watch it or not.
this is not the same as a 'how to assasinate' film, it's just like any other realistic fiction movie.

It is a hot button issue.
What if the West did a movie where Osama was slaughtered? How would the Muslims react?
