I don't have any poems, but you can Yahoo or Google search for that kind of stuff. I do it all the time, especially if I want to say something to someone special, but just can't find the words.

Does it have to be 10 lines?
If you could possibly extend to 14, there are a few sonnets by a guy named Will Shakespeare that still work.

"Let me not to the marriage of true minds, . . ."

"When in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes"

or a young woman named Liz Browning

"How do I love thee, let me count the ways"

Then again there is one which has always worked for me by e.e.cummings titled "Somewhere I have never travelled" Yeah it's 80 years old, but doesn't feel it. How can any poem feel dated which ends:

"And no one, not even the rain has such small hands." ?

once upon a time, something happened to me, it was the sweetest thing, that could ever be, a fantasy, a dream come true, it was the day i met you.

Somewhere there's someone who dreams about your smile, and finds in your presence life is worth while so when you are lonely remember its true someone somewhere is thinking of you.

today if a smile comes to you and its one you cant explain it's because i thought of you and smiled just the same.
