nothing wrong is there methinks betimes with concepts woven long ago by old billy ....but some fools just dont get the point. i think the stories, plots, ideas, concepts are all fine and interesting, but the last time i read anything by shakespeare [about 4-5 years ago] this was my experience:
read a paragraph fine, read the next..fine come acrross a convoluted back to front section which took four times as long to read and untangle before i could re-read it intelligably and then move on again.
when this happens every 4 or 5 paragraphs it infuriating.
its not a matter of intelligence or attention span ... its that the reading is such a jagged and bumpy ride with lots of halts and pauses to untangle the sentences that it becomes an altogether dreary and tedious experience.
im sure that to shakespeare contemporaries it was a sublime thing a joy to read and wonderful language to savour......but we are living centuries later when the very structure of sentences is different.

I'm teaching kindergarten and I have a student who is undergoing separation anxiety. I talked to his mom and asked her help by talking to her son about new faces, new school, etc. I even gave her pamphlets, books, and infos about this case. But she never listened to it. She continues staying with her son inside the classroom, never letting the child do things on his own, leaving her when he's not looking, coming back as fast as thunder when he cries. I offered to visit their home along with the other teachers to get to know the boy better outside school, but she declined. She's starting to get into my nerves. Now she's threatening to transfer the boy to another school if we cant do anything to make him be independent. What shall I do?

i wonder why it is when even the bible is updated that young people are tortured with shakespeare.
dont get me wrong, he had some wonderful things to say but but the laguage is like matted hair on an unkempt cat.
isnt it time shakespeare had a good comb through and all the irrelevant and intelligable bits updated.
those who like to study the arcane and obsolete have the original.
i am not advocating modern hip shakespeare with new words...just a version where the ancient & archaic garbled and unintelligable are are at least updated to the extent of sounding antique and old.
its the arragement of words that is germanically backto front that confuses kids, not the ideas or substance, and thats a shame.
why should "im going to the shop for some butter and tea"sound something like " i to the shop some tea for to buy am going methinks but also butter!
why does the 21st century have to pack up and decamp to the 16 century, instead of bringing the 16th century here to join us in the 21

Our church wants to perform this skit, we thought the name of it was "Heaven's Gates and Hell's Fire" everything I find is heavens gates and hells flames and It cost to get people to come perform it for you. We don't have any funds to pay others to come and perform it for us, nor do we want to charge people to come see it, we just want to perform it for our church and invite the public to come watch. Our church wants to practice it and perform it at our church one night and I can't seem to find the skit for it I would appreciate any help anyone can give me in locating the skit for this program. Thanks. Ang

I do not know why men go gaga over HUGE breast implants. What is so appealing about Pamela Anderson's fake breasts and all of the reconstruction that she has had done to her body? Anyone who has a lot of money can look like she does. My opionon is, if it is to put your hands around them, then have your wife or girlfriend buy some LARGE balloons. Fill them with warm water and feel away. Thinking about Pamela, of course. Don't you think that Sophia Lorene was put together well? And she is all natural. So what is the big attraction to fake boobs? Is it because the owner never had any before, and has to expose the new ones? Therefore making her a sex idol? Give me your ideas on fake breasts. By the way, no jealousy here, I'm very, very natural.
