you can still work in local theater, in local modeling shoots, etc. Start where you are - you can't walk in to LA and get famous. Take classes, build a resume first and when you do move to LA you will be taken seriously and get work.

I believe Fontana has a Community Theater...my best suggestion is to start there. If you can't make it to L.A., but still want to persue the acting thing, the best thing you can do is stay in practice. And stage acting is often much harder than film...you only get one "take" a night, and the audience response will be different every night. It's a great way to fine tune your acting skills, as well as pad out your resume. And even if you're not really into stage acting, the audience response is IMMEDIATE, so you may get a better indication of whether you're cut out for the "big time" of L.A. or N.Y. anyway. And if you already know you're a fantastic actor, you get to be a big-fish-in-a-small-pond! (Which may also prove a welcome change from the horrors of breaking into Hollywood...) Take what you can get while you can get it, and use it as a learning experience until you can make the big-break move.

It looks as if you have to wait until you graduate from high school to audition.

In the meantime, you should join the drama department at your school. Your parents should call the community theaters in your city and ask if they teach acting classes, that may be right for you.

When you graduate from high school go to college and major in theater. Acting is not easy, you need to be well trained, so get a Master of Fine Arts in Theater.
