think for a minute...remember your thoughts become things in your life. Say this to yourself over and over and let it slip into your subconscious and your awareness. What do you really want and what is stopping you from accomplishing these needs, or is it just an excuse...?

A more elaborate version of the question:

You had to vacation in Heaven and then Hell for six months each. Before entering the human dimension of the earth again, the 'gate-keeper' of earth asks you whether you would like to keep the memory of your vacation or forget all about it. What would you do?

Remember: If you want to remember Heaven, you'll remember Hell, too. If you want to forget Hell, you'll forget Heaven, too.

Everyone can agree on something painful. SMASHING YOUR HAND WITH A HAMMER. but sometimes things that bring pleasure also come with a heaping helping of guilt so I would argue that pleasure is subjective, and NOT a true opposite of pain

At least two thirds of our miseries spring from human stupidity, human malice and those great motivators and justifiers of malice and stupidity, idealism, dogmatism and proselytizing zeal on behalf of religious or political idols.

The "why" of it is the important part of this question, so no simple "yes" or "no" answers please, just be honest.

Have you heard about that story about the professor and the student, when they argue about if evil existed? If you haven't google it, if you have, read on...

The story about Evil not existing, was about how evil was just an absence of good. In this story good was compared to light and warmth, it was mention in the story a few times, how you are able to measure light and warmth, except how can you measure good? Good is not like warmth or light, where it is an object that we can see alike and measure it. The definition of good differs from person to person, if we do not know what good is, how do we know what bad or evil is?

or would you rather have no one (yourself included) responsible for any wrongs ever done?
(I'm not talking about a human judicial system either, I'm talking about a supreme moral judging of the souls of men.)
What effect would your decision have on society?
(considering everyone would know they can either get away with anything they want, or they'll have to give an account for every impurity in their lives)

and yes, in order to answer the question you must have the presupposition that right and wrong exist.

The Cosmological, Teleological, Ontological (especially this one) and the proof from Human Experience. I find these really hard to understand because all the books I've read use very technical terms that make it very confusing. If anyone can explain what the "Proof Of The Existence Of God" in easy words, that would be fantastic. Thanks!!!
