OHHHH, maybe the only REAL difference is that science is absolute? But then again, a artistic perspective COULD be absolute even though not everyone can see it.... Though... I suppose the only true relative truth is subjective meaning, or opinion, which exists only as preference, so art is a science of expressing preferential views of the world through different means then the norm?

But can anything REALLY be created? Or just discovered?

Art = skill
Science = knowledge

Both are in each other - we need both.

Art - from the viewers perspective - is the artists perception of what he sees - however - the way the artist creates what he sees is a science - it takes in the knowledge of colors and how to apply them to patterens inorder to create certain emotions in the viewers.

Science - while always questioning results - uses knowledge in an artful way to find truths that exist - this is the old "thinking outside the box" syndrom that gives science its artful display by allowing the scientist to be creative in the search for the truth and understanding of the subject at hand

I guess - philosophically - it would depend on what perspective you are viewing the question in order to get the answer you want - realize that one perspective would give you art while the other would give you science - so yeah - BOTH is definately a valid answer

Art is not a science and science is not an art because it was not created intentionally.

Science is a very creative and/or artistic field.

I would say that both statements are correct.
