Religion is that phenomena which concretizes, explains and expresses the relationship of the human to the divine, the natural to the supernatural, the temporal to the eternal ( all this is your cosmological reference-- it tells you how religion seeks to understand the world, the universe). It serves humanity as a soruce of social cohesion, inspiration for art and literature, a basis for human inquiry, and provides a system of convictions about the meaning of human experience (all this is your teleological reference-- it tells you what end religion is directed toward). Religious practice and belief is a universal human phenemona, a cross cultural reality (this is the concern of religion related to human experience.)
So called "proofs" of the existence of God are rational inferences by which one makes a prudential judgement in regards to the question of whether or not God exists. Saint Thomas Aquinas proposed five: 1) A being that changes presupposes a being that does not change. 2) A being that is caused presupposes a being that is not caused. 3) A being that is contingent presupposes a being that is necessary. 4) The gradation in qualities of being presupposes a source for those gradations. 5) The order in the universe indicates an intelligence from which this order is derived.

The reason you will have substantial difficulty understanding/summarizing Nietzche's philosphy, is because his writing is usually fundamentally a criticism of other philosphers/philosphies, as opposed to providing solutions. In the most general terms, Nietzche is known for espousing the theory that "God is Dead." He also espoused the belief that morality is relative. The morality of the slave, and the morality of the slave owners, are substantially different, and for each, it is appropriate. With his contemporaries, religion/god was very important. He debunked this theory with the concept that morality is human in nature, and is not based on a God to set/establish/enforce such morality. Good luck. You have a difficult study here. Even Wikpedia will not simplify it for you, although it is a place to start.

It is an individual thing...
no one can prove God to someone else, but you can find proof of God for yourself IF you choose to do so.
"Seek and ye shall find" is the phrase, but unfortunately, most religions have forgotten HOW to seek God. The Monks, Mystics, and Yogis are the professionals in that field.
To get an explanation of how it is done in understandable language, I would recommend this free on line resource..

Hi. There is no way to prove the existence of God.You either believe in God or you don't believe in God.It is outside the realms of a scientific explanation and beyond our 4 dimensions.

Ok, this is what I feel.
God or god's power is that energy/force which comes from nowhere which helps you achieve something (based on prayers), which cures you during an ailment, which relaxes you, which helps you achieve something which looks impossible otherwise.
At some point of time in our life, we feel this power/energy. A believer will treat this as god's power. A non believer may consider this as self power.

None of us knows, really.
If I knew, I'd tell you.
I think that's why everyone is sad in a way.
We all try to have a good time.
But there's something missing for all of us.
Wish I could help you, though.
But I don't know.
