I'd taunt them for a bit, make them apologise for being horrible to me in the past, hell, I might even pretend to let them go - I'd want to see them suffer for a bit, but as much as I wouldn't want to I'd save them, then go and kick myself.

The "worst enemy" is the key for me here.At present I do not know personally anybody in that category but if I did I would be a fool not to let them drop. Somebody I merely disliked intensely i would probably save for all the good reasons already stated by others. A "worst enemy" would take advantage of ones weakness/kindness and I may find myself at the bottom of the/a cliff either immediately or later

I would save him, or her for that matter, yes, but that I would do not merely because I want to be a good person, or I aspire to be one. No, not just so, as there is a solid reason that would form the basis of my action, a reason that goes beyond anything else that is there in the situation and into my personal life, the reason that constitutes my being regardless of the fact that I have an enemy, or if I have a situation at hand with him, or her for that matter.

It is if my life so far has been all but the thoughts of my foe, thoughts against him, thoughts to destroy him by any means, then this would have been my golden chance. But if my life would incorporates, at that moment in time, more things than my relation with my enemy had brought to me, then I would consider those as well: there for instance, is the love of the ones close to me, thought of care and considerations for the people in my life, in general, my aspirations, precious dreams and hopes residing well within my faith. I would have to consider all that before making up my mind, that usually I normally am. And thus my enemy whosoever he might be, howsoever fierce he might have been towards me in his animosity, is a human being, and not my entire life. I would consider myself also a human being on par with the one against me. And I could not kill a human being just to keep my animosity alive, or kill a human being for the sake of getting rid of my personal enemy. I would never do that … unless, there is some good reason for it, a reason, for example, if my own life is at stake, and if I do not act to save it now I might lose it – the thought however would still be a mere speculation but there nevertheless.

No!Why,because,if it was an enemy,I wouldn't have a reason,in fact that would be a good thing for me to watch while my worst enemy falls off the edge of a cliff!I know that sounds mean, but,I guess it would depend to how much I hated that enemy, and if I am threatened...

Which one is closer? what's the possibility to me incredibly talking? could saving one over the different positioned me at greater beneficial risk? What if one became extraordinarily obese and the different became small? could that make a distinction? Being a weakling, a man or woman could choose for the lighter man or woman. All else being equivalent, i could shop the atheist. Why? via fact the Christian's destiny is shield with God. The atheist nonetheless does not have a destiny with God. Letting him die now could be like asserting that the atheist does not deserve yet another threat to settle for Jesus the Christ. that's not my place to confirm.

Honestly, I would save anyone in such a circumstance regardless of the person being my enemy or not. I was taught from young how to give respect and earn it by doing things right. I believe up to this day, anyone including your enemies can be the greatest friend you could ever have at a certain point of your life.

If I knew that they would be "paying" for the reasons that they are my enemy, then yes, otherwise, I don't think so. I would like to think that I would do the honourable and noble thing, and say yes, but I think that wouldn't be completely true. I would probably think about what I "could have" and/or "should have" either way, for the rest of my life, but sometimes, you've go to pay the piper - you play, you pay. Humanly speaking, I would like to think that everyone gets what they deserve, and that fate catches up with all of us sooner or later. To be on the safe side, I'd say no, honestly, no, I wouldn't. The greater good, ethically speaking, would be best served if that person, in my opinion, would no longer exist. But then I think, what if this jackass has a family that depends on her/him, and their needs for this dirt bag to continue outweigh my desire for them to "leave". So, now that I think about it, I'd say yes, I would save the loser, and then kick myself for the rest of my life.

Yes - I think so or want to think so. The worst enemy is still a human being and for that fact alone, I would save him. There is always a chance that the relationship might change. Besides, he/she would owe me big time.

Yes, certainly I will try my best to save him if he accepts my help. Enmity and friendship are not permanent feelings, but human life is precious. By this simple natural expression of love my enemy will become my friend.
