In our finite existence with limitations, there can be no absolute freedom. We can therefore have only relative freedom. Relative freedom is freedom within limiting boundaries. These limiting boundaries therefore define the freedom. In this kind of a freedom, feeling free is the most important aspect..... and our mind is such that it needs to feel secure before it can feel free.... thus security becomes a necessary bondage in order to have and enjoy freedom. For example, the freedom of loitering outside in the open air under a shining winter sun would not be enjoyable unless there was the assurance of a house with secure roof and walls to retire into at night.
