For the ensouled to reckon the sum total of existence as void, a set of principles that cancel each other out, is tantamount to an otiose submission to those principles, presumed to be adequately conceived or consummately evident. Rather, may the soul as hierarchy of parts be also the indeterminate grounds for the intellective part to determine order, which has no directive without the admission of discernible motive?

We supposedly have several dreams each night that we don't even remember. Since we have so many dreams, researchers say we are bound to dream of something that can actually take place later in reality, and that it doesn't have anything to do with being "psychic."

However, when people have dreams about something very specific or out of the ordinary, and then something crazy happens within a couple of days that links directly to the dream(s), do you think it's only by coincindence?

I'm asking because I just had a weird dream two days ago about my friend being attacked by a mob of guys in the street (for no reason), then another dream about me telling my sister & her husband to stay away from any violence (why, I don't know). Then yesterday my sister got attacked by 9 people on her street.

I am still searching for answers regarding God. I have alot of anger towards God and I tell him off. I tell him: Why is it that if you are so merciful and loving you would create a world that our only choice, which is not much of a choice is to either worship and love you or else be doomed. Why is it that he gave us free will, choice if there is not much to choose from? If it is true free will, we would have a choice to be okay without Gods and Devils.

I tell God, that he is selfish because how can one create a bunch of pets for HIS glory to be loved. For his benefit basically. It does not benefit me to be forced to worship a God like that. I am afraid because I don't want to be on the dark side either. Yes, I do not really have a choice, because I don't want to choose God and I don't want to choose evil. I don't want either. Why didn't God make that choice for us.

I am tired of my life, I am tired of being told what to do when to do it OR else. I was born like th

A brute fact is an objective actuality whose existence does not depend on the subjective (phenomenal) states of rational or perceiving subjects. An institutional fact is a subset of social facts. The existence of forms of currency like the dollar bill is an institutional fact.

Isn't it funny how we get criticized if we don't conform to society's expectations, but we usually don't get recognized for our deeds unless we do something extraordinary?

Sir "william osler" the Father of Modern Medicine, mentioned the key behind his success in life which is "Live within the confines of your day" , which means to focus all your attention and be centered within your current day, yesterday was a dream, and tomorrow is a blank page. each day you wake up from bed is a whole new life for you. this doesn't mean to don't plan for the future or learn from our mistakes from the past. but just synchronizing your brain over time. to avoid stress and negative useless thinking. and be focused in the moment. I've been suffering all my life specially the last years, looking for a practical method(rule) to live. i've tried to divide my life into steps where each step has it's own work style to follow(concentrate on each step, when it's turn comes), and tried to use different rules in the same fashion. but i don't know what is the best. what do you think about sir William's idea? do you have other ideas/rules, to synchronize brain with time?

I suppose you can say something like 'love' is free (?) but love hurts sometimes so how can it be the best? Same with friendship, or trust...

What do you think?

I'm just sick and tired of the ones that only have religion to back all their sh*t up because it makes them dangerous more than anything besides a weapon in their hands. They'll destroy anyone and for any reason it seems, they are taught not to care about anyone else but themselves. That's obviously why they have no respect for anyone else. And so this spiritually superior nonsense is used by them to justify doing crazy things to others which is flat out evil in action. Oh and is it fair to say that the Quran tries to justify evil so that followers can get away with it for the sake of gaining the upper hand? This twisted logic really gets me worried for these people.

"Logic (and therefore probability as a branch of logic) is not concerned with what men do believe, but what they ought to believe, if they are to believe correctly."(John Venn)
Do you think the quote is stating such an obvious fact that it does not merit repeating, or do you think it is stating an obvious fact that is commonly overlooked, and therefore, it merits repeating?
Setting aside the issue of whether or not the quote deserves repeating, does the conclusion of the quote effect the way you think about some of the more controversial issue we face today?
