Our definition of time as forward and linear prevents true "time travel"; however, it is possible to travel "outside of time" if you can overcome the neurological training of thoughts in a time-bound existence.

Well, I personally think that time travel is possible, althought this concept has not been proven yet. It probably will not happen in our lifetime.
If you look at Einstein's theory of relativity, a person travelling at the speed of sound will grow much slower than a person walking. If the first person travels fast enough, he might even grow half slower than the latter!
This proves that the dimension of time is very mysterious. If you enter a wormhole or a black hole, who knows, you might be transported into another world, though I don't really believe in transportation from world to world.
In the future, with much advanced technology and machines, travelling through time might be just the same as travelling on an aeroplane. Nobody knows for sure. Let's cross our fingers and wait.

I'm not entirely sure. Since our entire conception of the universe is based upon time, everything happening after a certain amount oif time, our lives running on schedules etc, that I don't think we can understand physics without time. Although traveling through time may be possible, I don't think it will be possible for us to find out how, unless by some accident.
I hope we never figure it out, for the power to manipulate time would prove to be too great a power for man to wield without corruption that could very well erase ourselves from existence.

Time is a fourth dimension after three dimensions of rigid space. Time causes and enables us to move in the space.
We can travel in time by our further higher dimensions, like thought and intellect, (our memories of past and our vision in future). Up to thought, all animals and humans are same than our higher dimension of intellect (a responsible thought), makes us superior than animals.
Regarding the God, is free of such frames of reference. He Has His own frame of reference out of our perception and understanding. That's why He is Unique.
The God has blessed us a moment of present time that remains with us throughout of our life. This is the only moment, we may take any action, not a single moment before or later than it. Rest of the time is a dead element, so no use of travelling in it, as we can take any action in the single moment present time, the active and living factor of time.
When the God takes back that moment of present time, back from us we become the part of the past.
So the single moment of present time is actually our soul.

I don't believe that there will ever be time travel until we cross over to the other side
It would be a blast to travel in time
Who knows perhaps some people in our lives are actually visiting us in this time.

Time travel to the past is theoretically allowed using the following methods: traveling faster than the speed of light, the use of cosmic strings and black holes, wormholes and Alcubierre 'warp' drive.

Speed can be measured in light years . The trick would be getting back to present day. Does present day even exsist anymore once u begin time travel?

Yes. I live 10 minutes into the future. That way I'm never late for an appointment. It's easy if you have a watch !

Yup. Scientifically it's proven that Time is just our psychology determination. Time is actually does not exist. It is only used in making a comparation when 2 or more events occured.
