Everything is good (as you say) breathe, eat, work, study, love, etc. It means I'm alive in the best possible word. Regrets does tn Worth, they are not appropriate. All the things happen for a reason. And sometimes with reflexion, analysis, meditation you can find the answer. Because life is a school for learning in order to be better, to be the best person I can become (not perfect). Part of the learning process is when you try and you make an error, then you can learn when you correct the error. Apes born whit brain ready to work; humans develop the cells and connexions of neurons while they are growing, we are best in this part. As humans we have this advantage: any circumstance is good for learning something, for become in a stronger person. What can I dow for enjoy or learning something the present day? I can read a book, call a friend, go to a museum, take a course for improve a course, find a new way of doing activities in my daily life, make gymnastic for my spirit, mind and body. Since I have options there are no excuses like family environment or fatalities, etc. Is important be responsible for myself, do what I have to do seeing the positive side in every circumstance.

Everyone has things that they like.... usually quite the varied selection of things that promote favourable thoughts in them.

All you need to do is to try and build cognitive associations between those favoured subjects and the circumstance at hand.... To believe that in some way the two are related.... and that should cause the favour to rub off on the situation at hand (though alternatively, if the circumstances are bad enough already, it could completely put you off the thing you like)...

I did something similar to this to program myself to actually appreciate being depressed.... and be content with it.
It is a truly bizarre state to be in, but I don't mind when I'm depressed any more... and almost enjoy it.

Well ... You can write out the pros and con's in two columnns. The colum that is longest and seems to be most helpful to the most people (including yourself) will usually be the best course to take--But still .. if it's very important: check with several people who have experience in the type of situation.
Now you have a great educated guess as to which course of action to take--or not take, so long as the people you consulted with were not chosen based on your hope that they'd agree with which solution you feel is best.

.Every now and a gain, I simply stop, especially if I happen to see a pleasant view, or I am in the midst of good friends or family, or I have a triumphant moment, I simply seize the moment so to speak, take a deep breath and soak it in.

One can easily trot through life, without noticing it passing, without any golden moments to frame!

Remembering that there are spiritual beings all around us-both good and evil, we definitely need a hand living successfully in this world. One has to think about the situation and discuss it with others in your church(if you go). The answer to every life situation is in the Bible. Prayer is also needed. One way to do it would be to say to yourself-is it honest?, is it kind? Is it pretentious? etc; Would Jesus Christ approve?

I find that mind expanding substances (oftentimes illegal) tend to do the trick for "appreciating the present for what it is". I usually find myself happy and glad to be where I am when I'm stoned.

I know, philosophically, this is kind of sad, but it works for me.

Ask yourself what you would ideally like to achieve in whatever you're doing. Then picture a way of getting there.

The best way to see is to open your eyes. I know it sounds simplistic but it is much easier said than done.
