isn't that what men have been asking for our entire existence? Essentially, we fall into 2 purposes in life: physical and intellectual. Physically, our only purpose is to propagate the species with the best possible mate, rear the healthiest children, then die. Intellectually, you are supposed to learn and apply your knowledge for the benefit of society. The trick is to learn how to bridge the massive gap between the 2 meanings of life. heck, I still am so far behind the game, I still don't know how. Good luck man. If you need to, read Plato's Republic, it might help in understanding that question has been rattling around in literature since 500 B.C. and prior.
