And why did our benevolent Creator create predation, the disease, the birth defects, the evil in the world, and the parasites? Are these examples of his beneficient and intelligent design? Also, if the design was so intelligent, why did he have to keep coming out with new & improved models? (the best example are the extinction of the Neanderthals, but there were over 15 other hominid species that didn't make it).
And there's always the question of why did Jehovah let Hitler incinerate 6 million of his chosen people, why did Budha allow Truman to vaporize 200,000 Japanese men, women and children, or how did the christian god let Stalin butcher 30 million christians.
God must not be benevolent or these treacheries wouldn't have happened. Or he was not omnipotent, and couldn't stop the treacheries. Either way, he could not have been both... with gods like that, who need em?

I believe in God. There are just too many miracles around me for me to disbelieve. Someone once said "I'd rather live my life as if there is a God and find out there isn't, than to live my life as if there were no God and find out there is". And God has answered far too many of my prayers for me not to believe.

I do.
I never expected to.
Several years ago I bought a short encyclopedia of world religions. I read it from cover to cover: Judaism, Hinduism, the Moslem faith, etc.,... but I left that boring section out, the one about Christianity. Finally, one rainy day, with nothing better to do, I read that last section. I argued all the arguments, but in the end, there I sat, by myself, dumbfounded, speechless. I believed in God, finally.
And I still do.

No...why should I believe in god when there is so many injustices in the world ! There is no real proof that he does exist...like any other god that people believe in ! If there was a god don't you think we would have more proof? Sorry but I think that it is all fairy tales...
