Or any of the other countless weird stuff they make for the world like... martian head bands ... or dinner place matts with pigs on 'em ... do they just think the worlds crazy for wanting this stuff???

They are most-likely puzzled at the idea that people actually want what they're making.

For some insight, watch the documentary, Mardi Gras: Made in China, about the people in the factory where the bead necklaces tossed around in New Orleans (and elsewhere) are made. That's one of the main questions the filmmaker asks: what do the workers think of the people who buy these beads.

Their task is doubtless even more boring, so I doubt they think about it at all.

in order to think about stuff your mind has to be free. Communist China produces enslaved bodies, by first enslaving their minds, as is what is happening right now in America. So I don't imagine they think about much, except what they are supposed to be thinking about and doing. It's hard for a free mind to relate with this.
