...has striven equally hard for an equal # of years to become content with being poor? That's a question I came up with the other day. Please answer! You don't have to be Ghandi or anything to answer. : )

There is no comprise between natural and artificial, the moment we started to think for ourselves on that day when we made the first tool we were destined to evolve into a conflict with nature. Today we only need her because we havn't evolved enough so it is only for parks. Nature is the savage animal inside us that tells us cheat, steal, cheat on our spouses and put ourselves above others. Kindness is human invention. Technology is how we will one day completly liberate our minds from the natural world; instinct, bodily chemicals, many emotions, this will perish along with our suffering. This is the true heaven.

I see beauty in the gears of a clock.

What do you think of me?

Within the past many earth shattering inventions were made (i.e. internet, telephone, cars, etc.) now days every invention seems to be a spin off or an improvement to another previous invention. How do you explain this? Is it natural or Unnatural?

i've been pondering this for awhile now........and I've discovered long ago that having lots of money and material possessions do not bring real happiness.........maybe only temporarily...........but not permanently...........I've been trying to seek inner peace but I know I haven't found it because I don't feel it..........I've got lots of blessings and a lot to be thankful and grateful for, but I still lack true joy and the inner peace that I yearn for......I believe in God and I have prayed to him many times for inner peace..............maybe it's not my time to receive it yet.......... I don't know...........has anyone else felt this way? I'm sure many people want this just as much as I do.................

Great physical beauty (or handsomeness)

OR

Great Inner Beauty (Kindness, Compassion, etc.)

Remember, it can only be one or the other.
If you are physically beautiful then you are vain, if inner beauty then you are physically ugly.

WHY do you choose this?

Thanks.

Is it part of our human nature? i have observed evidence of this right here on this sight, more answers occur in less time when the subject deals with themselves.

I was once told by a person that opinions could be wrong. I looked at that person and asked them why. How can an opinion be wrong? So long as you can support the opinion it cannot be wrong as far as I can see. Hypothetically, say that I think that cheese tastes odd. I think it tastes odd. Am I wrong about what I think? (I actually happen to love the taste of many different kinds of cheese.) So, can an opinion be wrong? Look not at the cheese example, but at the whole question. Can an opinion be wrong? Is there a 'right' opinion?

I have this person who I knew (well, really knew- he was my first crush) I can vividly recall dreaming of him for at least all my life here in Canada. lately, we found each other through the internet. I think he's married now or so-well he has to be for our ages. Our communication stopped but I think he is still communicating with me. I fell in love, and i almost thought he was trying to discourage me, i think he's sending mixed messages. Do you think this is only what i think/ or do you think I am delusional that he is still interested in me even if he is married. If he was married how could he have all the time sending me all these mixed messages in different persona, or that maybe it is not him at all?
