I wish I knew the answer.

Depends on your priorities ( I asked a question about this)...

I think that you can handle life without falling in love...but it is not colorful.

My priority is love and I want to find love...but I can't find it.

so I guess I have to do compromise with other secondary not so good priorities.

People are motivated by all kinds of things. You can also be motivated by more than one thing at a time. Some are motivated by the love of money; revenge; hate. It is always best to be motivated by positive things. It is better for the soul. A life without love would be empty. I don't mean that you must find a true love, but that you learn to love others and the world around you.

Love is a strong motivating factor, but it is hardly the only one. Curiosity is also a strong motivator, and it is one of the things that has motivated human society more than anything else. Strong emotions, like those mentioned earlier, can motivate people. Grand ideas or philosophies can motivate people. History is filled with people who were motivated by vengeance, a need for justice, or the belief that they could "enlighten" someone else. So, to answer the question, I think that motivation is definately possible outside the realm of love.

depends on what you mean by the the word love and how you choose to use it. this can be yes or no, i love music so i go with that, but i am not really motivated by anything, i just do it because i love to do it. but yeah if you go to some personal development seminar they can motivate you to do about anything, you don't have to like it at all. you ego will enjoy just doing things for something in return.

Well I guess you can simply like something, but you wouldn't put as much effort into it as if it were something you loved...Motivation is derived from Love. The love is what makes you want it..desire it, and there for being motivated to obtain what it is you want.

Can you be motivated in life without Love. Yes.

You can be motivated by any strong emotion,
Hate,
Fear,
Greed,
Lust (for power or people),
Kindness,
Happiness (not just normal mind you).

Love however will be one f the few emotions that will fulfill as well as motivate though.

Hope this helps.

I think so. It would be a lot harder to be motivated without love but it's all about your personal attitude.

Anything is possible if you really want to make it happen. Although it does help to have some kind of support even if from a parent or a friend. There is love out there for everyone, you just have to make it happen for yourself. No one will love you until you learn to love yourself.
