a) you live in a perfect world in a perfect universe for any lenght of time imaginable, so long that it is even unimaginable, but not endless, and then pass into non-existence or, b) you have to go through all that lenght of time in this world or similar ones and then pass into a perfect world in a perfect universe forever after.

Mine is this:

Petrarch Sonnet No. 104
I find no peace, yet make no war;
I fear yet hope, I burn yet am ice;
I fly in the heavens, but lie on the earth;
I hold nothing, but embrace the whole world.

One imprisons me, who neither frees nor holds me;
nor keeps me for herself, nor loosens the noose;
Love does not slay me, nor unshackle me;
Love wishes me not to live, but leaves me in torment.

I see without eyes, and have no tongue but cry,
I long to perish, yet I beg for aid;
I hate myself, but love another.

I feed on sadness, yet I weeping I laugh;
death and life repel me equally.
I am in this state, Woman, because of You.

If hatred is like wind, in that keeping it in is bad for you , but letting it out is bad for those around you. How can you get rid of it??

In other words, is life (living, being, existing) inherently valuable no matter the mode? Would you NEVER sacrifice yourself given even the greatest threat?

For example, every person has some chance of getting hit by a lighting, or winning a lottery ticket jackpot. I'm talking about the smallest possible odds that can happen to you. So wouldn't all the smallest odds that can happen to you with a normal life turn into 100% happening if you live forever?

Besides the Bible (Hopefully we all read that!) what are one or two books you think that if other people read it, it would help us better understand the ultimate nature of reality?

For me it would be Men are From Mars Women are From Venus! John Gray is genius!

To be really free, we should be presented with equally good (or bad) options, and choose among them with full knowledge. To my understanding this is barely the case. Some options are clearly better than others, only we do not know beforehand.
So, are we really free to decide or we are just free to go wrong?

I don't know that it's anything, but I do have a recurrent dream, frequently enough that I remember details, of this guy, a cowboy, who is always sitting on my couch when I enter the room. He is wearing a cowboy hat, boots and jeans, and he smells like leather. The smell is overpowering, but it's more something that I sense than actually smell. I am always surprised to find him in my apartment, but then I feel as though I have known him a very long time. I have no idea who this person is, and I can never see his face. Truly, I don't have a clue. Thought you might. Thanks!
