In other words, is life (living, being, existing) inherently valuable no matter the mode? Would you NEVER sacrifice yourself given even the greatest threat?

i don't believe that life is an end in itself. i see my soul on a journey up a mountain. ultimately i want to get to the top to have my energy merge with god. i think certain things could help me get there quicker. i.e., the more love energy that i give works toward this progress. given a real threat(say to my children) i would sacrifice myself without thought. seems easy for me because i don't believe in our western way of thinking about death. we don't "die", we simply transition to another form. whether this life is really valuable, i still don't know. i've never come to a decision about that. but since i am here, i make the best of it by loving and sharing my love.

English is not my mother tongue and I have difficulty in understanding what you say. I hope my short answer is relevant to your question.

I believe that life is most valuable, yes. In my opinion, it's the most valuable thing of all. Everything we do and accomplish, is primarily because we live. "Well, isn't it obvious", someone could say. Yes, I know it is, but not many people appreciate that they live! There could be no life in the universe. All of us could be just nothing, a reality that never took place. As for the second part of your question, I like to believe that I would never end my life because of unbearable circumstances. However, you can never be sure especially for things which you have no experience of.

Only relying on nature do we provide certain and false within probabilities, never does the matter or close encounter seclude the reason from soul attempts and scarn necesity from itself in deep and contented deceit. Some say truth does scare, it does not, people scare themselves. Pity me now.
