I am a Stephen King fan. I own most of his books. I am reading The Mist right now and was wondering which one I should read next. Any ideas? Which was your favorite and why?


I'm not looking for a different author. I actually own most of stephen king's books and I want to read one of them that I haven't read yet. I have too many to choose from.

I am a minor but I have this book that I need to get published, not in cricket or lulu or whatever I need to get the publishing thing set up RIGHT AWAY!! I write big books like 10 and more chapters that are more then four pages long.
Important marks
-It has to be free but not self publishing, i get money for the book
-they have to publish minors
-NO scams
-it is a novel actio/adventure with a drop or two of romance
_Its the first book of a series so if I could get a contract or something for a couple books I'd be really happy
Please dont tell me to check some place out unless it is a site with free pusblishers who publish minors dont tell me to check out my library or anything like that I live in pennsylvania and I'm 13 going on 14 in January

See, I can read pretty fast, not sure about words per minute, but faster than the usual 16 year old kid. The only problem I have when I read fast is that I don't seem to enjoy the book that well. Although I have very good comprehension of everything and while I may not remember everything off the top of my head, if you asked me questions later about the book, I would know the answers, sort of sub-consciously... The main problem I have when reading slow is that I seem to have a very short attention span with books, no matter how intriguing and interesting the book may be to some, if I don't finish a book within a couple days, I usually don't finish it at all. So I am sort of in a dilemma of sorts, sacrifice enjoyment with speed or sacrifice speed with enjoyment, but risk not finishing the book.

Decisions, decisions.

this ghost story is for my eng. class. we have to make upa ghost story or a story where somethign supernatural happens in it. i'm not sure what i want to write about yet, but it has to be something supernatural... i want it to b really REALLY good. and unique something others in my eng class, maybe vampire-ish or something like that. something that will have them thinking too the end, something that will intrigue them and want me to keep on telling the story. and yea... this is kinda due tomorrow so i would love a LOT of help and soon please and THANKYOU!!!

we have to write short ghost stories for out eng. class, and i need an interesting place for someone to have died (i keep thinking hotel, but i want a unique place, a cool place) and that is where the ghost would be haunting. but i don't know y the ghost is haunting the palce. i'm thinking agen that, its a girl, her fiancé killed her, (i havn't figured out y yet) and the only thing left of her was a locket on a necklace with her and her fincés pic. in it. and thts all i'v got so far. this is due ... tomorrow actually, alot of help would b appreciated!! I was bored the other day, so I just started writing...but I wanna know if this sounds good or if you guys have any advice.

Run. Run! That was all I could think but my feet did nothing. I wished I could run, dreamed it. But I couldn’t. As I stared into the eyes of fastly approaching man/my capture, I knew this would not end well. I knew I had to do something, but what I didn’t even know. I inched backward and my capture inched forward, he knew I could nothing. I dash and he grabbed me. I felt a pain I had never felt before as he tightened his grip. I fought to breathe as he squeezed me like a starving boa squeezing his prey. “Please.” I gasped. With an instant he let me go and stared at me with disgust. I was weak and mad at myself for not running when I had the chance. “Foolish girl, why would I kill you when I need you?” he spat like he loathed the words coming out of his mouth. “Take me to the ___, and I might spare your life.”

I live in atlanta and i'm trying to find a writing course outside of a university or online to polish my writing skills. Have any ideas or should i just take some classes at a local college. I didn't want to do that because most require u get a degree. I already have 2. i just need to take a english course and maybe creative writing class or playwright course. and suggestions.

I wrote a novel that didn't get published. I have an idea for another novel that seems like it might be a young adult type novel about a young couple and a cat. Should I just write it as it comes out first without thought for the genre since I don't want the type to cramp my style or imagination? That way, it will give me leeway in case it turns out not to be a young adult novel.
