I am a Stephen King fan. I own most of his books. I am reading The Mist right now and was wondering which one I should read next. Any ideas? Which was your favorite and why?
I'm not looking for a different author. I actually own most of stephen king's books and I want to read one of them that I haven't read yet. I have too many to choose from.

Try "Blaze" By Richard Bachman Foreword By Stephen king.
I just finished reading it and found it to be a very good book.
Someone told me "The Shining" was good too.

rose madder is my favorite in a disturbing sort of way. another good author is lemmony snicket who wrote the books " a series of unfortunate events" 13 books in the set good for teens & up. i found these to be lighter reading when i needed a break from stephen king

My favorites are "The Shining" and "IT"....you should really read "The Heart Shaped Box" by Joe Hill...he is Mr. King's son. I loved the book....

But how do we knwo which boosk you have alraey raed? Any way, if you have not read the entire Dark Tower series make that your priority.
The recently published "Blaze" written under his pseudonym of Richard Bachman is excellent.

i always like "Nightmares and Dreascapes" especially the story called "Chattery Teeth"
