maybe woulda changed the whole book... i always wondered what woulda happened if Johnny woulda lived and dallas not have died. Excellent writing for a kid of 17, she was. susal elouise hinton, one of my favorite authors! I am 40, and I read that book, when i was in high school.

The plot probably would have resembled "West Side Story" if they did. They were from opposite worlds, but they did have chemistry.

its not supposed to work like that. Ponyboy is too messed up with his life. After Johnny died pretty much everything changed

they were a few years apart right? and i think thatd be too unoriginal. maybe darry and cherry, or more likely dally and cherry. she siad she might marry him if she saw him again..
