I am trying to write a Technical Report for a class. It is about a very controversial social issue, but I cannot include my opinion. I have done all my research but I cannot get past a few sentences. I am so frustrated! What do you recommend?

this is an issue that i have been toying with in my mind for a week or so now. i am a freelance writer, and i have recently done some works that do not conform to the "family friendly" kind of writing. they are not pornographic stories, they are just sexual in nature and deal with lust, and sexual fetishes.

where can i post these on the internet without getting tracked down and beaten, or arrested?

(by the way, i am not a pervert, i am just shockingly unusual)

My mom just started reading again and she likes to read classics that she felt that she missed out on, so that is basically every classic. She just read To Kill a Mocking Bird and Fahrenheit 451 (my suggestion) and loved them both. Any other ideas??? This would be a christmas present.

Ok so I'm looking for some good (teen) books.
and please don't suggest the twilight series I have already read it.
I want something that a teenager would be interested in, or that you read at my age.

I just started really writing not that long ago. I write short stories and really enjoy doing them. I've completed about 4 stories so far. Working on my next (Liking this one!) Now my problem is I don't know if I'm any good. Don't think I am. Now thing is, if I'm really not that good. Why bother writing? If I'm gonna spend my time writing stories, I would like to make some money off it idealy. I really just wanna get my work out there to open doors for other things.

I really do actually enjoy writing. But if I'm not good enough to make into anything. Why bother?

Anyone else have this issue?

Thoughts?

PLEASE DON'T MOCK ME. IF SO MOVE ON.

Luther stayed hidden in the brush of the forest, barely daring to breathe through fear of scaring away tonight’s meal. He laid in wait, his arrow notched and ready.
He was tucked away from any possible danger, his jacket blended perfectly with the forest; his piercing blue-green eyes scanned the forest floor with the distinct precision of an expert huntsman. Tahesin watched in silence. The silence was broken as a mother deer entered the clearing and, after an anxious glance, she dropped her head and began to graze. The only sound that came was that of Luther stretching the bowstring and letting go the single arrow, it’s whistling shattering the air.
The unfortunate creature pricked her ears and looked up as the arrow stuck in to her side. Tahesin clasped his hands around his ears. The doe’s cries were horrible to him.
Luther slung the bow over his shoulder and ran toward his kill and hoisted that upon his shoulder as well. “Can’t get fresher than that” he said coldly. “So what do

My idea for a book is this guy has found a cure for a disease but he is killed and goes to Heaven. Many people are hurt by this disease so his cure would be truly heroic. In Heaven there is supposedly this potion that makes you able to go back to earth but no-one has ever found it so this guy goes looking for it. Of course, the Heaven would be fictional but...how do you like it?

I would rather write the book quickly - but would prefer to have a loose framework of (tutor?) help, perhaps by living near a local college, etc., and I would be prepared to leave home to do this, for a short while; anything from a fortnight to two months - as short or long as it takes me.

Ok, so i really like modern fiction. The Corrections by Franzen is one of my favorites. Infinite Jest by Wallace, anything by Dave Eggers. But i also wanna expand my horizons a bit. Any ideas?

I have decided to write a story based on details that YOU help decide. These traits will all be roof-top traits of the main character (i.e. information you can easily tell about a character). Once these traits are chosen, I will follow up with the next level of traits (i.e. personality, interests, etc.), and then finally the storyline. Choose a trait from each of these categories:

1. Gender
Male
Female

2. Age (give a range or a specific age)
Child
Teenager
Adult (Twenties, Thirties, Fourties, or Fifties?)
Elderly

3. Race
Caucasian
Black
Asian
Middle-eastern
Other - please specify

4. Appearance (please take into consideration the race you chose)
Choose between:
blue, green hazel, or brown eyes
black, brown, blonde, red, or artificially colored hair

5. Socio-economic class
Filthy rich
Upper class
Middle class (specify upper or lower middle)
Lower class
Poverty level

Thanks! Check back later for the next installments!
