Is "Bluest Eye" a tough read?

I have a paper due in less than 5 days. I can write on Dracula, but I have so much trouble interpreting it and all the themes and everything (I guess I just find it hard, plus it's so long).

I can also write on Morrison's Bluest Eye, but I'll have to read it first, and seeing as it's 200 pages long, I don't know if I can do it in time.

So can someone tell me if Bluest Eye was easier or harder to read than Dracula? And which is more difficult to write a paper on?

I have been getting a lot of negative emails about this film, how it promotes atheism. The emails give these quotes: "If there is a God, and he is as the Christians describe him, then he deserves to be put down and rebelled against." Here's another: "My books are about killing God." Does anyone have more information?

*****
Wicked, wicked boy

Shadowless forms know no sunlight
no reflection, no silhouette
When asked for song, they sing nocturnes
by lamplight, chilling night fair

Hurried along by the master
crimson sunrise, morning rain
Quickening steps hold the darkness
the door stoop, then down the stairs

Into your box, Doppelganger
hide from daylight, and the rays
I’ll leave there until midnight
then on our flight, into thin air

Tolkien presents us with a mythic vision of order and disorder in the Lord of the Rings. Discuss this theme as it plays itself out in the story. What are the roots of disorder? What is the meaning of order? How are these things manifested in both characters and events in the book?

Today, Dr. Thomas Foster, author of "How to Read Literature Like A Professor", is coming to our high school to give a lecture. What are you ideas for some interesting/dynamic/thought-provoking questions I could ask him. I'm having a hard time coming up with anything original or "deep" in regards to the world of literature.

Ok there's this children's book that I read more than a decade ago, it's a children's story about this Jewish guy who faces off against I think three gargoyles in a synagogue. So if you've heard of this book I would really like to remember the title because it's driving me insane....

Ok, I am pretty confused, is Slughorn in the seventh book on the 'good' or 'bad' side.
Because on on of the pages 588 or something he was fighting against Charlie Weasley, then on the next he was dueling Voldemort.
That completely got me stumped. Is he good or bad?
Thanks.

I love reading and I'm homeschooled now so I have nothing to do and I read and re-read all of my books. Here are some books I liked: The Glass Castle, Escape from Memory, About a boy, Ttyl, Ttfn, The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nightime, The Silent Storm, Running out of time, Double Identity, Just Ella, not really a certain type of books but something interesting, good, and um idk just reallly good that I can't put down until I'm finished!

Although it may be argued that there are a lack of similiarities between the novels, there is more evidence of similiarities between them. Independence, judgements of others, and a quest to find love justify the similiarities intervening the two novels.

...please read over this and fix it/ add words/take out words..just do whatever so it sounds better

I'm sick of the generic names I read constantly in novels. I want something unique, but modern.

I have so far for a girl the name Tegan. And for a guy I have Liam.

But I'm positive you can think up some good names. It does have to be a unique name, just name your favourite names for boys and girls.

thanks!
