this is an issue that i have been toying with in my mind for a week or so now. i am a freelance writer, and i have recently done some works that do not conform to the "family friendly" kind of writing. they are not pornographic stories, they are just sexual in nature and deal with lust, and sexual fetishes.

where can i post these on the internet without getting tracked down and beaten, or arrested?

(by the way, i am not a pervert, i am just shockingly unusual)

Your description in your narrative, "they are just sexual in nature and deal with lust, and sexual fetishes," reveals that your writing is pornographic because it concentrates on carnal desire and exploitation.

Perhaps the best outlet for you is Hustler magazine because it caters to such creativity.

It depends on the focus of the stories and the intended readership.

Stories which deal with a particular sexual interest or fetish are most welcome at sites which caters to adults who share that interest. Think leather, or gay spanking, whatever. There are groups for everything. Find them.

Mainstream hetero stories without a fetish element can be placed at many more sites, but they're more likely to be lost in the enormity of the site, one among thousands.

Use a pseudonym. If you seek or accept reader feedback, or communication from the web host, set up an email account under the pseudonym.

Be aware that if you write about something that's an arrest-able offense where you live, internet posting and pseudonyms will not protect you. If the police try to find you, they usually can.

Even though there's a market for it, for example, I'd advise against writing anything with children as objects of erotic feelings or actions.

There are quite a few outlets for your work, if it's in that vein. Get a copy of Writer's Market. They have an adult and alternative lifestyle sections that may have the outlets you're writing for.

Also, if you're worried about exposure, try a pen name. It's worked for Anne Rice and Stephen King...
