I just finished the Harry Potter series (really good), the Shadow Children series (good till the last one), the Twilight series(amazing!) and about a million other books (because i am a huge bookworm. yes i am a dork that way =D) What are some good books to read? I am bored...I don't care what kind. I can read at a really high reading level but try to stick with books for teenagers(cuz adult books tend to be boring) and if they are adult books make sure they arent boring.

I want the book, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, but it seems like there are different versions (i.e. abridged, unabridged, alexander text ???). I just all the works in one book and in their original form. No abridging! But if the book comes with some sidenotes, definitions, introductions, pictures (etc), thats cool. but ultimatley i just want the original Shakespeare works! So what version would be best?

"A certain minor light may still
Leap incandescent
Out of kitchen table or chair
As if a celestial burning took
Possession of the most obtuse objects now and then --
Thus hallowing an interval
Otherwise inconsequent
By bestowing largesse, honor,
One might say love. "
paraphrase them if you understand.

I personally think this topic is retareded. I have looked everywhere on ideas of what to put in it. So far i have how the play would be without the comedy and then i put how Benvolio and Mercutio make fun of Romeo for being in love with Rosaline. ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS????? I am okay in English. I am 17 and I am studying English since the age of 3. But the problem is that I am willing to write novellas or novels if it went fine. Although my English is good, writing English novels is another thing.

What should I do to not sound a non-English native speaker?

Is anyone else sick of hearing about how 'His Dark Materials' trilogy and the new film 'The Golden Compass' is an attack on christians?

The people who shield their children from alternatives to christianity are purely indoctrination them and brainwashing them into being scared of anything which isn't accepted in the Bible.

A girl who has to write a story for class, but she cant think of anything. And then (for some reason) famous story characters come out and she gets inspired, writing a story about her adventure with the fairy tale characters.

Yes, its an OVERUSED idea, but my friend said that its the only idea shes got. After she told me her story was called "The Girl Who Couldnt Write A Story" I freaked out at how lame it was ^_^
