Does anyone feel like they are falling in love or is in love with a fictional character? I think I'm in love with a fictional character, I read a lot of books. I love the John Keller trio collection by Lawrence Block:
-Hit Man
-Hit List
-Hit Parade
John Keller is a hit man (of course) and I find it very arousing what he does. But since I was younger, I always loved fictional men like John Keller when I read books. I never met a real character like John Keller...yet. You can judge me, I need open and honest answers.

My main question is, does anyone think it's wrong to be in love with a fictional character?

I am looking for a book from the 1980s-- it was horror fiction. The only things that I can remember is a man who did tarot readings who did one for someone and it came up that the person was going to die. After the person left, he couldn't believe what the cards said (because he always manipulated them into what he wanted to say for the client). He started did a reading for himself and it was death.

The other part was about this young woman who was pretty loosey-goosey for the time and she had a different guy every night..... and she picked up this guy who ended up to be the killer-but he was like a paranormal killer because they were having sex and the author describes her as having really good sex and an incredible orgasm that didn't stop. The woman couldn't feel her legs it was so strong and eventually (too late for her) she figured out that the killer was eating her (but in the sense of making her dissappear) and it was like one long delicious orgasm to her. Help is appreciated.

If I have, what at least I think, is a great idea for a book, but I don't have anything close to that natural ability for good writing, what am I to do with this idea?

In your honest opinion, should a horror story taking place in a maximum security prison be in 1st person? Lately I've been struggling between 3rd and 1st(and a bunch of crumpled papers) and would like to know your opinion. Thanks

Ok so I'm not a big reader, but I would love to start maybe reading a book slowly maybe once or twice a week. I want a book that I can maybe relate too. So maybe about a guy in his mid twenty's and about life and it's choices and woundering where life might take him. Is there such a book? Or one like it? can be fiction or non fiction. Thanks in advance

I have a story that has always been lingering in my head and I finally put it to paper in form of a children's book. I have had many people read it and they all have said I MUST get it published. I am not sure where to begin. It is has a very spiritual meaning to it; not religious, more personal growth. Any ideas where to start or recommended reads to help me with this?

My novel is about a dragon and his rider, who live on a mountain. They do not know that inside the mountain lives a beast, the beast who had created their land. And lately, they had been hearing these strange shrieks from somewhere. They find out that it is one of the four elemental creatures, the creature of air: It is trying to wake up the beast inside the mountain, for it is displeased with the beast's creation. The creature of air is also trying to wake the other three elemental creatures, so their shrieks will be so powerful that the entire human population will become deaf or even die from the force of the noise. The rider is set out to destroy all four creatures so the beast that had created the land would not destroy their world or wake up.

Well, I wrote the summary as part of the book, but what do you think? I'm very determined with this book, and I want to send it to a publisher. What publisher should I send it to, and before that, what should I do after I finish my novel?

I enjoy books in which teens deal with problems like drugs, sex, relationships, etc., or books where the main character is an outcast. (like Perks of being a wallflower.)

So. I love to read. Right now I have two questions in my mind:

Does anyone ACTUALLY know when the third book in the Eragon trilogy will come out?

When does Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke come out in the US????

I REALLY NEED TO KNOW THIS SO THAT I CAN START TO THINK AHEAD ABOUT MY READING SCHEDUAL!

No. I do not actually have one, but I'd really like to know.
