novelist = person who has finished and attempted publishing of a full novel.

novice = person who does not have sharp grip on grammatical skills and/or is trying to anger the tightarses on this site.

If the latter half of the latter, I applaud you. The former half of the latter? Reading has done wonders for my spelling skillz.

So, a novel you don't intend to make any money on? Why on earth would you want that?

Hopefully you won't use Elizabethan English when writing either, we have enough "thous" in our libraries, we don't need anymore.

Spell correctly. Your grammar and punctuation and spelling need to be correct before you send it to a publisher. HONESTLY - what is an expert? Do you mean... EXCERPT? You musn't bring in quotations from another poet/author/novelist.

I don't really think you ARE a 'novelist'......most 'novelists' can spell the word properly....and it's EXCERPT ... not expert! SHEEEEESH!
