I'm 14 years old and I really want to become a journalist/writer. Do I need to start writing some things that I can submit with my resume when I'm older? And if so, what do I write about?

Ok, so I find myself with nothing to read.

In general I like sci-fi fantasy along the lines of Piers Anthony's Immortals series and Ann Rice's vampire chronicles. I very much enjoyed the whole Harry Potter series. I also enjoy historical intrigue novels along the lines of "The DaVanci Code". Another one I couldn't put down was "The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal (absolutely hilarious!).

Suggestions?

take the thestral drawn carriages to get to the train when they leave the school? If so, wouldn't Harry have been able to see the thestrals at the end of the Goblet of Fire (since he had seen Cedric die by then)?

When I applied for a part-time teaching position at a local college, I was asked to provide a list of my published works. Though I have had some articles published in hard copy, most of my work has been through blogs. Would a blog count as a published work?

Every time i've ever tried answering a question about the talked about Harry Potter series, which I love as well...I noticed that they try to spoil on the last book, which i'm currently reading...I already know i'm behind on...But why do they want to ruin the best parts of a book and expect everyone to have the same reaction to what they had? If your gonna read a book your gonna find out your own right? Please give complete and honest opinions on this question!
