I have all kinds of short stories, and plays, a screen play and a musical, I would like them to be seen, and critiqued, but not stolen. It would kinda have to be free, and open to all genres,
if anyone knows of a good site or two could you let me know?
thanks!!

I just want a simple one-three sentence plot line.
I'm trying to look for ideas.
Something like Kate DeCamillo's Tale of Desperaux
Fantasy maybe.

I am writing a book and i was goin to create a blog to share my idea with people and get peoples opinion on my writing and also give people an account of my progress and what is going on. I just want to make sure that if i post sample pages and chapters that i will be able to use the blog posts along with my own personal copies to show that the material belongs to me. I just don't want someone to take the material(unlikely) and claim it as there own and me unable to attempt to have my book published.

Big book agents have been telling me that they cannot always sell books they are passionate about, as they have in the past. I am wondering if this has something to do with the Corporate takover of independent presses. I think big corporate presidents who are not passionate about literature would favor authors with media connections. And would also favor so called "formula genre" books over originality and great literature. Has corporate takover helped publishing or has it damaged what was a good thing? What do you think? Have you noticed a declline in quality over the past few years?

It's a brilliant novel by Eve Forward, in which many cherished fantasy cliches are nicely skewered.

ok, i just turned 14 and have decided to write a novel that will be well over 100 pages. Now, here's the first couple paragraphs (i apologize that the chapters are rather short). What vibe do you get from it so far? (and no, it's not going to be a cheezy horror book, seriously, i hate those.)

sorry for spelling mistakes.

Nicole Brown Simpson’s sister is upset and calling for a boycott of the book. Awhile back, because of public outcry, publishers Harper Collins canceled publication of the book. Mr. Goldman’s father called the book “disgusting and despicable”.

Now, a smaller NYC publisher is going to publish the book with all rights being turned over to the Goldman family to go towards a $38 million dollar wrongful death suit. All of a sudden, Mr. Goldman doesn’t mind the book being published. Probably figures they won’t get any money otherwise. OJ has been broke forever.

Personally, I won’t read the book. I think it’s tacky of him to write it, but that goes without saying, being the low life that is him.

It isn't copyrigthed or anything. I'm 14. Does anyone know a reliable website that specialises in young writers? Thank you xxxx
