I have all kinds of short stories, and plays, a screen play and a musical, I would like them to be seen, and critiqued, but not stolen. It would kinda have to be free, and open to all genres,
if anyone knows of a good site or two could you let me know?
thanks!!

Not a good idea. I belong to a (free) critique group online, you "pay" for critiques by doing critiques in return, and you have to keep doing the critiques or your work won't come up to be presented.

They only critique Sci Fi/Horror/and Fantasy.. but I'm sure there are other site that do the same. They are password protected, but ANY member (and there are thousands) can go in and read your work. All written work is consider copyrighted (even if not registered) and is yours. You can download a copy of your stories on a disk, and Post mail it to yourself (you will have a postmark on the package-- DO NOT OPEN THE PACKAGE, BUT PUT IN SOMEWHERE FOR SAFE KEEPING--you can't register copyrights for short stories, plays or music other than in collections.

Writing.com stays free. You have the choice of creating a free account or updating.
You can also try WritersCafe.org.

Both of these places list the copyright to you.

If you are looking for a good place to get some feedback and look up publishers and agents, go to AbsoluteWrite.com

Hope this helps.

writing.com

you'd have to create an account...it free for 3 months. after the three months you can chose to renew your account for a price. If you don't, i think it would stay free but you would only be able to have 10 items in your portfolio.

also...during the free account, you also only can post 10 items...i think

I just renewed my account $19.95 for a year, I think it's worth it.

try it out-your work is also protected-they critique everything

critiquecircle.com is awesome, really awesome.

If it's fanfiction, some people on fanfiction.net offer constructive criticism.

fictionpress.com is also like fanfiction.net; some people offer constructive criticism. critiquecircle.com is definitely the best though.

www.deviantart.com and www.fictionpress.com I've seen--you can create an account, and I think it's copyrighted for you.

P.S. Sherlock Holmes sends his regards. He always liked you. ;-) Nice name!
