Red Dragon is by far the best book by Thomas Harris but Hannibal isn't in it much.

Not a series but American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis

James Patterson's Alex Cross series. ("Kiss the Girls" is one of my all time favorites)
Cody Mcfadyen - Shadow man & Face of Death
some of the Preston & Child books

I haven't read these yet but they're on my list of things to read. All by Jeff Lindsay.
Darkly Dreaming Dexter (Showtime made a series of this)
Dearly Devoted Dexter
