Ok, so I find myself with nothing to read.

In general I like sci-fi fantasy along the lines of Piers Anthony's Immortals series and Ann Rice's vampire chronicles. I very much enjoyed the whole Harry Potter series. I also enjoy historical intrigue novels along the lines of "The DaVanci Code". Another one I couldn't put down was "The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal (absolutely hilarious!).

Suggestions?

Guess I should have also mentioned that I am in my mid-40's. A good book is a good book regardless of target age group, but don't be afraid to recommend something with a more sophisticated theme.

I've read two good books just last month. Both of them by the same author, Frank E. Bittinger. Into the Mirror Black and Angels of the Seventh Dawn. Into the Mirror Black is a somewhat of a horror novel. Its there but its not over powering. His second book on the other hand is classified as horror and is much more graphic than his last. If your interested just go to amazon i'm sure you can pick it up there for a cheap price. Hope it helps. Have fun reading.

Christopher Stasheff's Warlock in Spite of Himself series. The last few got a little to political preachy for me but the overall very good reading.

Try the Dean Koontz novels Phantoms, Fear Nothing, Seize the Night, Watchers, or Lightning. They'd probably be right up your alley.

Happy reading!!

I have answered this question so many times, I decided to dedicate a web site to answer this question. Here it is:

http://www.life-after-harry-potter.com

Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, and a short review of each book.

Also, if you haven't, you must read Dracula, free on the web.

I hope this helps.
