I'm living in Ireland and I was just wondering, now that I've finished writing it, what should I do. I need to get it edited, published etc. I don't really have a clue how to copyright the book either. Anyone know what I should do, please help.

I am reading the book "Chasing the Devil" by Sheriff David Reichert, 2004. I looked it up in Amazon.com and found it got some not-so-good reviews. However, there is another "Chasing the devil" by the same author, published in 2005, got all 5 star reviews. Are these two book different?

It's done. I don't know where to send it though. Everywhere I look it says that they don't accept manuscripts if you don't have an agent. Is it really worth getting an agent if you've only written 1 book so far? I am not interested in self publishing. Please, any help would be appreciated.

Basically, I have the inspiration and the ideas and I love plotting my script, taking much pleasure in moulding it into shape. But I lack the resolution and determination to finish the manuscript. I get to the third or fourth chapter and I simply falter. I need help and encouragement. Because I have loads of unfinished stories in my drawer and I simply lack determination. Any ideas. Or encouragements?

I know it said that S. Morgensen wrote it but when I looked up the name, it said that William Goldman IS S. Morgensen, but how is that possible when he said his father read him the story aloud when he was 10?

I am looking for books, websites, articles, etc that have taken well known fairy tales and retold them. I have seen things before when they are updated and told in todays culture, or perhaps told with a politically correct twist. I have also heard that there are parodies/spoof and common fairy tales. I am a teacher and looking for these to help a writing class. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

This Is My Theory:
Hogwarts won't reopen for a year.Draco is in hiding,he fears voldemort.my guess as said the phropechy is voldemort dies but harry and neville won't. neville will have a big role. harry is a horcrux.harry will suffer from some damage after everything.dumbeldore is dead but harry will communicate with his portrait.sirius will get in the picture again.the locked room i think can only be accessed with your mind.harry and ginny will get back together.ginny shows more of her powers. snape isn't good nor bad he sticks with whom he thinks will win.dudley or filch will get/show their abilities late.the MOM will die, dolores umbridge will be a temporarily MOM,she will try to make a deal with voldemort but he will take the MOM under him. lupin will die and maybe even snape or tonks.i think the horcruxes are:the diary, the ring, the locket, helga's cup, rowena's tiara, harry and voldemort.petunia hides something.we will see more of aberforth.
So what do you think? Any theories?

Hi. I'm 19 years old and I'm looking for some books to read during summer break. So far I'm considering Catch 22, Anna Karenina, and This Much I know is True.

I also like funny books like Sushi for Beginners and The Undomestic Goddess. My guilty pleasure is the Twilight book series. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated...Thanks :)

No, "Catcher in the Rye" doesn't count. Neither does "Moby Dick" or (shudder) "The Da Vinci Code." Looking for books most folks don't know about, but should. Thanks!
