I'm a writer, and I want to start freelance writing. How would you go about doing that? Does anyone have any experience in this area?

So, I just turned eighteen and am looking for reads that are more mature than my old Meg Cabot, Kevin Brooks and Eion Colfer books, but not as intensely serious as adult books. Anyway, I'm looking for either (A) sort of tansition books from the young adult genre to the adult genre or (B) youth adult books for more mature readers. Any sugesstions? Any idea is appriciated.

I'm thinking for the rest of the story, have Ryan try to kill Ashley's father, as a job for the mafic that he's in that Ashley doesn't know about, have Ryan put in jail for that. Then have Ashley try to find a new father for her daughter.

im just a student right now and i want to add to my portfolio an illustrated novel. im planning on using the text of a book and add my illustrations to it, reprinting the pages as i see fit. does anybody know if i need copyrights to do this, if im just making it as a portfolio piece and not for retail?

She is deputy headmistress after all, and she seems to be close to Dumbledore. When he died she also seemed upset. I think they are/were a great couple. Didn't they dance together at the Yule ball? I don't know. What do you all think.
