Which book would a book snob like best?

Hey, War and Peace is actually a pretty good book. Being a snob myself, I had to mention that I've read it. :-)

For good snobbery, you want something that people have heard of, but hardly anyone has actually read. I think Ulysses by Joyce would be the top pick.

Too many to list here. Give the book snob a book store gift token instead and let them choose for themselves, for the answer.

How It Is by Samuel Beckett. There's NO punctuation throughout the entire novel!

Moby ****, Grapes of Wrath, anything by Jane Austen, all revered as classics but they SUCK.
