I am looking for a published author that is willing to read my book and also willing to help me get it in the right hands like an agent . It is a comedy with some romance and good humor.
An excellent novel that should not only be a best seller but a movie. Please no jokers , just serious responders. Thanks

I'm looking for a book that really inspired emotion or thought in you, not necessarily an intricate novel

I am writing a story that takes place in the 1840s. The brief details: His name is Evan Jacobson. He is 12 years old and he's going to England by steamboat to help care for his sick uncle. On the way he gets shipwrecked.

I plan for him to be on the deserted Aztecs Islands. What should he eat??

P.S I'm 10

I'm writing a literature review and I can't think of a good way of saying 'easy reading'. Any budding authors out there who want to give me some tips, it'll be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

I haven't read many books.

I finished the book "Jumper" by Steven Gould, i really like it.

I also like Michael Crichton.

I am looking for a book that has a science fiction aspect to it,
but not a completely far out fantasy world with aliens and stuff.

Famous authors or books are ok because I just started reading recently.

Any suggestions?

So, on the way back home today, on the subway, I had nothing else better to do, and so I made up this joke...

There was this enveleope, once, see. It was a medium sized envelope... Well, no it was a little small. Not really small, but just kind of... well, small-ish. And it was a light brown color. Not really brown, actually, more yellow than brown. Sort of yellow-ish, you could say. And it had a long address written on it. Maybe four or five lines long. Not exceedingly long, but, that's right...long-ish.

So the envelope turns to the other envelope at a party and says: "Call me -Ish- Mail."

Funny, or should I just read the newspaper on the subway?

I'm trying to remember a book I read a long time ago, I remember it's in a series.

There's a boy who can travel to different worlds through a warp zone location located in a subway train station on Earth. There are dogs guarding it on Earth as I think I recall it. One of the worlds he travels to has no land, it's all underwater, the people there live in houses they make on giant platforms miles long. The people breathe under water with special goldfish bowl type helmets with little harmonica looking filters. The boy discovers different fruit in that world and finds that the people farm under water.

I canno't recall the name and I've tried searching for it. Can anyone recall this book and/or series?

I have been writing poetry for a short period of time now. I have a lot of poems and I'm still coming up with new things. I was wondering how do I go about getting my poems published into a book? What kind of company should I turn to (name of companies are great), how much would it cost (because I really don't have any money), just what to do. If someone could give me step by step instrutions or advice that would be great. Thanks
