Shakespeare used perhaps 20,000 words (some of which appear for the first time in printed editions of his work), while modern English, including specialised and technical words, has well over 100,000. He did use some French as well (notably in Henry V), but insofar as I know very few words with South Slavonian roots.

There are so very many more than two words that he did not use, even limiting it to Elizabethan English.
