PLEASE help...can anyone come up with a thesis about Maya Angelou?...anything about her life experiences or about her writing being influenced in the era that she lived.

She was sexually abused as a child. She has been an ongoing part of the Women's movement She has written inspiring poetry & books Gotta love her (I studied her in college what a truly great lady)

Are you seriously going to die if you don't get your response? Is someone standing over you with a gun pointed at your head and threatening you? I find that hard to believe. After all, if they were pointing a gun at you, do you really think they would allow you to type "I am dead if I don't get this"? I think you might be exaggerating just a tad.

She wrote her own autobiography in five volumes, but I'd recommed the first it is the best.

her book " I know why the caged bird sings " is autobiographical, so you might start there. Try Wikpedia with the title of her book.
