Just found ou that we have to read the whole book GREAT EXPECTATIONS ! In one week and the give a test on it CHARACTER SKETCH , PLOT etc..... WHAT SHOULD I DO ! dun hav much time !

This is not one of Dickens' long, complicated novels. You can easily get through it in less than a week, and you'll find it worth your while.

If you want a screen version, I suggest David Lean's 1946 movie, which is superb. There is also an hilarious South Park episode based on the book, but that won't help you any.

Take two hours and watch the movie, and then read the book.
(I have a animated version for my son)
