I'm reading The Unbearable Lightness of Being which is good and offers a lot of different philosophical points.

Why do people answer these questions by saying they don't read books? What is the point. Really gets on my nerves.

I'm reading Further Under the Duvet by Marian Keyes and have just finished The Pineapple Tart by Anne Dunlop (and have since purchased her next 2 books). Two very good Irish writers.

Marley and Me by John Grogan - by accident.

Subtitle - Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog.

I'd lined up a whole library of serious books to inspire my creative and philosophical sides, after getting many good suggestions from Yahoo. Then my husband finished with Marley (which he's been telling me amusing snippets from for the past two weeks) and before I knew it I was curled up on the sofa with a herbal tea and a mad dog. Good, easy, entertaining read which helps you see the good side of life.

I like to have more than one on the go and I am currently reading "Of Man and Manta" trilogy by Piers Anthony; "Vellum" by Hal Duncan; "The Blade Itself" by Joe Abercrombie; "The Chronicles of Amber" by Roger Zelazny and (for a bit of fluff) "Blue Moon" by Laurell K Hamilton.
