Yes, I can tell you about Homer's books 'The Iliad' and 'The Odyssey', they were both translated by Robert FAGLES, and are available in a beautiful box set, published by Penguin in 1999. See Amazon.com for pictures, details, reviews, etc.

The Illiad is written by Homer. I have never heard of a book written by a Robert Files called "Homer's Illiad."

The Illiad is alllll about the Trojan war with focus on Achillies' anger with Agamemnon. If you want a copy of the Illiad you can get one for free from WWW.gutenburg.org I recommend you get a greek translation. (although you seem to have a translator in mind.) you have to be careful on that cause there are different versions of the book and everything from the style of poetry to the characters' names will be different.
