It can classics such as Plato, Aristotle, or Socrates....or maybe Mark Twain and Edgar Allan Poe. As long as they are considered "classic".

in the book, the giver what does bicycles and hair ribbons symbolize.

Is R.A.B Regulus Arcturus Black?

Proof: The name Black is different in different countries. Like the Finnish version of the 6th it's something like R.A.M. and the Black family are called the Musta.

The locket/horcrux. Is it the locket that Sirius throws away when they are cleaning the Black house up?

Proof: Definitely works with the Regulus Black theory.

Thats all I have now. I personally believe all of these rumors. My friend John was the one who pointed out the locket one, just so you know.

I can't work out whether I have invented this or if it really existed, but does anyone remember a childrens book in which the last page was a black background with a weird multi-coloured monster that had massive teeth and weird standing-up wavy hair.

It's really annoying me because I have the image in my head but I can't describe it and I'm sure it used to upset me massively as a small child.
