Go to the library. They have it. Believe me. They really do have it. It's pretty big. Maybe four or five hundred pages; and this is the best part: it's written in iambic pentameter (that's a kind of verse...poetry to you). Just watch the movie, and read a study guide. That's the best you can hope for. By the way, some parts of the movie do not follow the original story.

Don't read it online--it's too long and too good to read on a computer screen. It's so good, so wonderfully written, so grand a towering masterpiece that you will want to own your own copy.
I'd highly recommend the Penguin Classics edition, translated by Robert Fagles--it came out in paperback in 1991, so you should even be able to find a good used copy for just a few of dollars (money very well-spent!)

Wow.

How about trying a library? Or do a google search and see if you can find an online version.

And if you're going to cry about this, I'd be afraid to see what you do when you're faced with a real disaster! lol

I just hate to see anyone upset;
Here are two links so you can download it for nothing. It is royalty free, so quite legal.
One is Penn state uni
the other is Uni of Virginia.

Happy reading.
