How many bullets were fired in the murder of President John F. Kennedy? With the passage of time, do the facts support that there was more than one gun man? If so, have there been any plausible scientific conclusions as to the how and why? Will history record the event as unsolved?

Hi i have recently decided to revamp my image but at the same time I am concerned that it is not worth the effort. What tips would you give me to make me better looking? Would you consider me a really ugly person or do i have potential to look decent?????

My theater teacher told us that if the poem we wrote didn't meet his set of guidlines, we would fail the class.
My argument is that there is no set of guidlines on creativity.
And the guy is a total prick! :)
Any opinions?

There Were No Flocks On The Hills

There were cold, lonely shepherds...
There were those men who had to
Keep their families fed...
It was not sheep....

The sheep abided in the towns...
The sheep abided by Roman Law...

Then a Lamb was born...in a manger...
As all lambs do, that can survive...
In warmth, in nurturing, in caring...
This is the way that the Lamb of God

Survived...

I have a canon powershot a630, when I turn the flash on the picture turns out very dark. When I turn it off, the picture is bright but blurry. The movie recorder works perfectly (without a flash). The flash still lights up, but what is going on here? I'm not a photographer so I have no clue. I am using the camera on auto setting.

I have only recently started to read Michel Foucault.

Question 1: Is all individuality and subjectivity a product of modern day power systems or only a certain kind of individuality?

e.g. the panopticon creates through the gaze, disciplined body’s who are self policing and self conscious. Regulating and correcting themselves with the knowledge of the norm in order to become a healthy balanced individual of society.
Is this not the creation of a specific kind of individuality?

Question 2: How can one free himself from pre-conditioned rationality or escape the effects of power that create who we are, if that is a possibility?

Could one not use the same power techniques like discipline, knowledge, self consciousness etc. to do the opposite of what is expected from one. To create ones own values, reality or truth?

I found out about a couple of myths. I am trying to prove them.

One is that my great grandpa was kidnapped when he was a baby.

The other is about my grandpas first wife. Some say she ran off while he was a war, others say she died during child birth.
