How many bullets were fired in the murder of President John F. Kennedy? With the passage of time, do the facts support that there was more than one gun man? If so, have there been any plausible scientific conclusions as to the how and why? Will history record the event as unsolved?

It is quite clear that 3 bullets were fired; two hit JFK. All were fired by one man, LH Oswald. The loony-toon conspiracy theorists spin their tales to sell books to paraniods (hint, there are plenty of paranoids who will buy books to confirm their crazy suspicions).

As has been already stated, there were three bullets, and they all came from Lee Harvey Oswald. There was no conspiracy, just a nut who wanted to make himself important and famous by killing someone who actually was important and famous. The evidence of this - that it was Oswald, and that he didn't plan on killing JFK until a couple day before when he learned the motorcade was coming past the building he had worked at for five months - in overwhelming.

If you watch THE KENNEDY ASSASSINATION - BEYOND CONSPIRACY and read the book CASE CLOSED by Gerald Posner, you'll get the facts.

The only way conspiracy theorists make their case is to alter facts and to ignore anything that contradicts their conclusions.

I think history will ultimately accept that Oswald acted alone, and that the rest was little more than NATIONAL ENQUIRER material.

The latest and most compelling book on the subject is the book, "Brothers: The Hidden History of the Kennedy Years" by David Talbot. The book does an excellent job of explaining the "how" and the "why" and a plausible explanation of the "who".

The Warren Commission Report is the official investigation and we're stuck with it. However, anyone who's ever read it knows it's a work of fiction. Also, if you have ever gone to Dallas, TX and visited Daley Plaza and personally checked it out as I have, you'll realize that there is no way that Oswald could have shot Kennedy from the 6th floor of the Book Depository Bldg. - not without leaning out the window - and even then the angle is all off. The grassy knoll and the railroad bridge are the perfect locations for the shooters.

3 shots were fired. One missed completely, one (the so called magic bullet) hit Kennedy in the neck/shoulder area passed through him and hit the Texas governor in the front seat, the third shot hit Kennedy in the head.

As time passes more conspiracies are brought forth, but the latest computer reenactments support the single gunman scenario. What I do find odd is that at a time when 16mm brownie movie cameras were more common then camcorders are today the "best" film of the incident has the president hidden behind a street sign at the time the fatal shot impacts him.

Some evidence was brought forth in the form of the sound of the gun shots through an open police microphone, but it's often misrepresented. The police motorcycle was not at the locations the specify at the the times they specify. The alleged 4th shot from the sound recording is typically regarded as just an echo.

How history will eventually record it remains to be seen. The crime itself is regarded as solved since the Warren commissions report. There are some people who'll never accept it. The loss of a president through the actions of a single person -- it just doesn't seem to balance out on the scales of justice.

I well remember JFK getting shot. When I got home from work I watched the one film they were showing over and over and over. It was all that was on. I was numb. It was very obvious that he was shot from the front because you can see his head jerk back, his brains go out all over the policeman that was on a motorcycle to the right back. Where else he was shot at that point is also very interesting. I've done enough hunting to know what I saw. I'm smart enough to look at what I saw and make an informed decision. By the next morning the Connaly theory was out that he had been shot from the back and the bullet was here and the bullet was there. I was appalled that they would feed that baloney to the general public. And much of the general public and the Warren Commission came to believe the shot from the back theory. There are tons of books with lots of information. I so believe what I'm telling you that I went to Dealy Plaza in Dallas and checked out what I saw. I'm telling you and I'm no crackpot, that there is a big coverup. Why? I don't know. Check out this link. It will tell you pretty much what I'm telling you and give you the proof. It will also point out all the Kenedy connection and lots of others. It is long but tremdously informative.

Don't believe the public stooges that don't challenge the baloney that was put out about his death. After the Warren Commission all the records were sealed - - for 50 years I believe. All this will come out again because people have to keep questioning just what went on.
I saw the orginal film on the night of his death before the information was doctored. I stood in Dealy Plaza to be sure of what I saw. There is a cement marker there to mark the spot where he was shot. The brain shot came from the grassy knoll. No doubt.
And people want you to think that the government wouldn't lie to you. . .Geez. . .
