There Were No Flocks On The Hills


There were cold, lonely shepherds...
There were those men who had to
Keep their families fed...
It was not sheep....

The sheep abided in the towns...
The sheep abided by Roman Law...

Then a Lamb was born...in a manger...
As all lambs do, that can survive...
In warmth, in nurturing, in caring...
This is the way that the Lamb of God

Survived...
