You need to cool off. Be systematic and slow. You must know that there are things that cannot do and there are a few things that you need to do that you have not done so far.

Listen Mate, I'm an Auss.
So I can't really tell you how you can improve your lot, as my lot isn't real good either.
The only avenue's I can suggest are.
Looking at why you started this course, if it's purely for Residency & your not happy with it, throw it
However, if this course could possibly lead to better alternatives. Then throw aside any negative, feelings and go for it.
Carry out effective investrigation into the Auss VISUAL COMMUNICATION & SPECIAL EFFECTS etc FIELD's, and ascertain precisely what Alternatives or Work Experience Avenues are open to you.
Rather, how can you open these 'Doors', ie what Fields do you have to get involved in to open these doors, even partially.
Instant money, I can't help you with, Ive been out of the 'General Work Force' for 17.5yrs. So you'd have more of an idea than I do.
Good Luck, always remember. Nothing Of Value, Comes Cheap

Dont regret and don't think that you are not doing your course properly. Be optimistic. Without hardwork nothing can be achieved. So, dont lose heart and get going. Work hard in your course and try to get its nuances. Then, you'll get the interest. Try to increase your talent and you'll automatically get the desired salary for it. Good luck!

Try "Creation: Artistic and Spiritual" and "Man, Master of His Destiny," O. M. Aivanhov, and "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton. Maybe http://www.yogananda-srf.org http://www.easwaran.org http://www.divinecosmos.com for balance.
