Being a musician is a lonely existence. Musicians are traditionally regarded as the pawns in the commercial world of music entertainment. However, when "fans" decide to rip off a bands music as oppose to buying it out-right it really puts the musician at even more of a disadvantage. I'm not completely innocent myself... That being said, I feel that we are a world of freeloaders, (myself included) but that doesn't mean we don't feel bad about it in retrospect. Why would we pay for something if it's dangling in front of us with a big red tag that says: I'm convenient, I'm free, and no one will ever know that you indulged in petty lawlessness. How do we fix this?

I recently inherited a Minolta SRT MCII camera along with a mess of lenses, filters, and accessories. I was hoping some camera buffs could help me out, because I have not used a camera like this in years. Firstly, what kind of battery does this thing use? I was not fortunate enough to get a manual, and all the links I try on the internet are no good.

Also, Some of the lenses I got are Yashika, including a Yashinon-R Zoom 90mm-190mm lens. It looks to me like these are screw-in lenses, and the Minolta uses a Bayonet Mount. Is there a way to use that cool zoom lens on my Minolta?

Any help you can give me would be great! Thanks, all

Give Yourself A Break...Who Else Will? ...

Why go on a diet, when you...
Know ice cream will freezer burn.
If you DON'T buy the Milky Way bar...
That company will close down tomorrow.
Don't feed the chickens tonight...
They're stuffed with bugs anyway.
Why be scared of lightning strikes...
People live afterwards, sometimes.
Don't sweat the arraignment...
Your lawyer lies better than you.
Why be alarmed at sirens and lights...
The serial killer surrendered next door.
Why bother with casinos...
Just write a check to the Gaming Commission.
Don't even bother with coffee...
Ice cubes down your bra works just fine.
Read your book. Ignore the open window...
Your Great Dane will bury the body.
Go to an 'all you can eat' buffet...
You know your fluid pills work wonders.

Can we ever really correctly assume what Shakespeare intended with the characters of this play? I have an exam coming up and was just wondering if anyone could give me their interpretations of gertrude and ophelia in terms of their focus within the play. I just wanna see if there's a general consensus...

Stalin was a great leader. The number of peole executed under his leadership is greatly exaggerated, and those that were had it coming anyway. If only that revisionist bastard Kruschev hadn't taken power, Soviet Russia would have prevailed.

It was a dark, stormy night and one young centaur stood on the edge of a cliff. Then a figure appeared; a figure of a man. The man was The Dark Lord; a shape shifter, a villain, a crook, and leader of the Dark Force, who had cornered a little centaur, all alone. No parents to protect her. This little centaur had been walking wondering which side to trust, Dark Force or to serve Chizkiah.
“Ithiel, come to me deary, come serve the Dark force,” called the Dark Lord but little Ithiel was scared so she tried to push past one of the soldiers when someone grabbed her arm.
Ithiel looked up the person, er, centaur, I should say, was her mother in chains with her father right beside her all her mom did was smile and gave her a locket and whispered “I love you, but you must run the Dark Lord is trying to control the world. Run baby, run!”

So she ran. She ran far away. She looked back just once and saw the Dark Lord whip her parents. Her heart filled with anger as she galloped off towards Chizkiah’s camp.

Meanwhile in Chizkiah’s camp the Follower’s are restless. Chizkiah went oversees and won’t be back for a while. He left a human in charge. A timid, humble little fellow, goes by the name of Ely.

“Sir, someone’s coming in to camp, centaur by the looks o’ ‘im,” said the faun Gedaliah.
“Let the centaur in,” Ely said.

“Hello,” said Elazar, the elf.
“Let’s shoot it, Heaven knows where it’s been,” suggested Joel, the dwarf.
“I’m Ithiel, and I heard that, miniature ”
“Well, hello Ithiel,”
“What’s your business, a spy for the dark lord perhaps?”
“Easy, Joel,” Ely commanded quietly. “What is your business here, little one?”
“The dark lord, or whatever you call him cornered me and I got scared so I ran. And for your information, I am NOT little.”
“ah, I can see that, my Master is away and will not be back for a year or so,”
“C-could I stay here until he gets back,”

A tall black centaur strode over to Ely.

“Sir,” Hannaniah whispered. “Battle is no place for a child,”
“No, your right, but remember what Chizkiah said when that flock of little fauns and their mothers came up to him.”
“’Let the children come unto me’” Hannaniah sighed. “but”
“He also said we should all be as trusting as a child.”
“*sigh* all right, Ely, but we should keep her under lock and key, You know how the Dark Lord has a tendency to track little ones who don’t know Chizkiah.”
“Okay, Ithiel, you may go into that tent over there,”
“You mean I can stay?”
“Yep,”

That was the day when Ithiel first wandered into Chizkiah’s camp. She found out that He was the Ultimate Protector, The Eternal Shelter, and that He loved everyone, even the Dark Force. She also found out that it was safest to stay away from Joel, just because he kind of scared her, the way he always talked about traitors and how he was once in the Dark Force. So she avoided him.

Then the day before Chizkiah was supposed to come back, the Dark Force came right into the gates! It all started when Ithiel was out for a walk, she decided to pick flowers.

So she picked about 45 blue flowers, 12 pink flowers, 7 white flowers. What! She has lots of spare time.

Then she decided to take them to old Ms. Badger, the widow who lived in a hollow stump about ½ a mile from Chizkiah’s camp. Ithiel enjoyed listening to old Ms. Badger’s interesting stories. She always told the most interesting stories about Chizkiah.

“Ms. Badger? Ms. Badger? Are you home?” Ithiel called just as she walked around the back of old Ms. Badger’s house, where she found old Ms. Badger digging in her vegetable garden.
“Oh, Ithy! What a surprise! Are those beautiful flowers for me?”
“Yes, they are, Ms. Badger,” Ithiel replied. “Could you tell me a story, ma’am?”
“Yes, deary, what would you like to hear?”
“Anything,”
“Well, okay then. Let’s go inside and find these flowers a vase, and maybe there’s some cookies and milk inside, too!”
“Mm, sounds yummy but I have to be back for lunch,”
“Well, here’s some cookies, for you and here’s some for the troops. Now you’d best get a move on if you don’t want the cookies to get cold.”
“Okay, bye, Ms. Badger!”

In Peter Green's "Alexander of Macedon" he quotes Demosthenes: "Observing that we consume more imported corn than any other nation, [Philip] proposed to get control of the carrying trade in corn."

Obviously he's not talking about maize. Is this a weird bit of translation? Is 'corn' used in some fields as a catch-all term for grain? Was there some then-current grain that's also rendered in modern english as 'corn'?

the different tins are intense last entires
a monstrous pearl or grace
Black stone bitter bureaus
rhymes of Leaning
Somebody Terribly Dying, under the pilanthropy of robins.
